Heart disease has many forms and it affects men at an earlier age than women.
These diseases prevent the heart from fulfilling its function of providing the patient with the necessary oxygen by shaking blood to all parts of the body. It is one of the most common diseases in our time, especially from the age of forty years in men. This is due to multiple reasons that occur as a result of an imbalance, improper nutrition that harms the integrity of the heart, or an imbalance in other organs of the body that affects the heart as well. According to specialists, the symptoms of heart disease appear in patients in general as follows:
Pain is one of the most common symptoms of heart patients. Feeling the pain in the location of the heart is usually due to coronary artery disease, meaning the narrowing or blockage of the arteries supplying the heart. It causes pain in the heart muscle, which cannot get enough oxygen. We cannot say that all the pains in the chest area are from the heart, because all of the pain in the muscles, ribs, spine, and esophagus may be felt in the chest area.
As for chest pain resulting from a heart attack and narrowing or blockage in the coronary arteries, it usually occurs after eating a heavy meal or because of tension, excitement, and sometimes after hard work or when walking for a long time. The pain is in the form of tingling with knives, and the patient often feels the pain of angina pectoris behind the sternum (behind the sternum), or slightly to the left of the midline, below the sternum. In rare cases, it may be under the left breast.
